Job Summary
The People Development Partner is all about inventing new ways to learn and grow at Chime. You’ll design programs that lift team and manager performance.
You’ll handle both strategy and hands-on tasks like building tools for performance reviews. Using AI tools (like GPT agents and Slack micro-learning), you’ll turn learning into part of everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
Program Design: Build development programs for the whole company that bring out employees’ skills.
Performance Enablement: Prepare toolkits and guides for managers during annual and mid-year reviews.
AI Integration: Create GPT-driven tools and Slack workflows so people can learn right as they work.
Intranet Management: Keep learning content updated and accessible on the company’s intranet (Interchange).
Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with business leaders and data teams to fill skill gaps.
Facilitation: Lead high-impact training sessions and teach others when needed.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience: At least 7 years in Learning & Development (L&D) or Talent Development.
High-Growth Background: Experience in fast-growing companies (FinTech) is a big plus.
Performance Cycles: Direct experience handling performance management and review cycles.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Skills
- Technical Fluency: Deep knowledge of AI tools, GPT agents, and learning automation.
- Communication: Ability to explain and write about complex topics in simple language.
- Strategic Thinking: Talent for designing large systems and carrying them out with precision.
- Data Driven: Use data and insights to measure program success.
Salary & Location
Chime gives its employees a strong compensation package. This role’s base salary is between $130,000 and $180,000, depending on your location and experience.
Bonus and equity (shares) are also included. The job is based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid work policy.
