Job Summary

As the National Sales Manager (NSM), you’ll be responsible for the growth and development of Uponor’s assigned national and regional accounts. 


Your main goal is to understand customers’ business strategies and align them with Uponor’s products so you can drive profitable growth. You’ll work closely with regional sales teams to be sure national strategies are executed successfully in local markets. 


Besides that, you’ll represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows and play a key part in decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Relationships: Build strong, lasting relationships with assigned accounts and understand their business needs.


Contract Negotiation: Negotiate profitable contracts and rebate programs with input from management and legal support.


Pipeline Management: Keep a complete pipeline of opportunities on Salesforce.com and hit revenue targets.


Team Coordination: Work with regional teams to make national account strategies effective at the local level.


Industry Representation: Be the face of Uponor at trade shows and customer events and expand your network.


Business Insights: Review market trends and competitors to improve sales tactics.


Experience & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.


Experience: 8 to 10 years of direct, national-level experience in the construction industry.


Industry Knowledge: Broad experience with homebuilders, developers, contractors, and wholesale distribution.


Technical Skills: Strong understanding of P&L and contract negotiation expertise.


Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 75% monthly.


Skills

Leadership: Ability to lead teams and work well in cross-functional settings.


Communication: Exceptional written and verbal professional skills.


Problem Solving: Able to deliver reliable solutions for tough business situations.


Organization: Skilled at prioritizing projects and multitasking.


Systems: Experience working with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.


Salary & Location

Salary Range: $112,783 to $169,174 annually (depends on your experience and skills).


Location: Remote / Field-based (United States).


Benefits: Medical, dental, vision coverage, plus 160 hours paid time off (PTO).
