Job Summary
As the VP/General Manager of Product, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance and strategy of multiple product categories.
This role comes with full P&L (Profit and Loss) accountability. You’ll develop long-term strategies, manage the product lifecycle, and strengthen product positioning in the market to boost profitability. You’ll be part of the leadership team and involved in high-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic plans for all product categories, and identify new growth opportunities.
Take full P&L responsibility for vinyl siding and MAT product categories.
Improve revenue growth and financial performance, and reach EBITDA targets.
Manage the entire product lifecycle—pricing, innovation, and differentiation.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to make sure everyone is working toward the same vision.
Continue to improve and streamline product development processes and systems.
Coach and give feedback to team members to support their performance and career growth.
Build strong relationships with customers to increase market share.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and better pricing strategies to improve margins.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience: Solid experience handling full P&L in a multi-product business and matrixed organization.
Expertise: A strong background in product management and strategy is expected.
Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build organizational alignment.
