Job Summary
As a Software Engineer, your main job is to design and build an internal tool that replaces manual processes and streamlines workflows. You’ll use languages like GoLang and Python to take automation to the next level.
In this role, you’ll work closely with product and engineering leadership to bring technical solutions to life. For the first 90 days, you’ll work from the office, and after that, you can work remotely three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop internal software tools from concept to deployment.
Improve current Python scripts to boost automation and reliability.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and turn them into technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and APIs.
Take part in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
Optimize system performance and solve technical issues as they come up.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
Languages: Strong grasp of at least one of these, GoLang, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
Tech Background: Previous work building web applications, internal tools, or dashboards.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of REST APIs, databases, and basic system design.
PST Overlap: Able to work according to Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
- Excited to work in a startup environment or in a small team.
- Ability to understand workflow automation and admin tools.
- Used to following coding standards and best practices.
Salary & Location
Location: E-11/3, Islamabad, Pakistan (Onsite).
Monthly Salary: PKR 150,000 (Full-time).
Annual Base Pay: PKR 1,800,000.
Work Arrangement: 90-day office-based probation, then up to 3 remote days per week.
