Job Summary
The Internal Auditor’s role is critical to maintaining a transparent and efficient system in the university’s financial and operational matters.
The candidate will review university accounts, ensure compliance with financial rules, and advise management on improvements.
This position is being filled under the Punjab Quota and comes with a BPS-18 or market-based salary package.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of the university’s financial records and transactions.
Ensure complete compliance with Government Audit and Financial Rules.
Review and improve the institution’s internal control systems.
Prepare financial reports and present audit findings to senior management.
Guide the institution on risk management and prevent leakages.
Strictly enforce government regulations and university policies.
Experience & Qualifications
Option A: M.Com / MBA / BBA (Finance/Accounting) or 16 years of education (preference given to first class). Must also be a PIPFA Fellow or SAS, with 8 years of relevant audit experience (including 5 years at BPS-17 in Govt/Public sector).
Option B: B.Com or 14 years of education (first class). Must also be a PIPFA Fellow or SAS, with at least 10 years of audit experience (including 5 years at BPS-17 in Govt/Public sector).
Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
Preference: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) candidates will be preferred.
