Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll join Unit 42, offering consultancy in crucial areas like Cloud Security, SOC Advisory, and Cyber Risk Management.
Your role is to protect clients against today’s complex cyber threats and make their security programs even stronger. The position is remote, but you’ll collaborate with global teams, so distance won’t get in the way of your daily work.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement Security Operations (SOC) programs for major multinational organizations.
Conduct deep technical analysis using SIEM, SOAR, and EDR/XDR tools (like Next-Gen Firewalls).
Perform security assessments and risk evaluations on cloud hosting providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Carry out threat and risk assessments to create cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps.
Identify indicators of compromise (IoCs) through threat hunting and compromise assessments.
Prepare technical reports and give clients top-notch advice for transforming their security strategies.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to boost the credibility of Palo Alto Networks products.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Digital Forensics, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: At least 3 years in cybersecurity consulting (in any two of SOC, Cloud, or Risk Management domains).
Consulting Track Record: Experience building client relationships and managing consultant teams.
Certifications: Preference given to candidates with certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, GDSA, or GCIA.
Skills
- Technical knowledge of SIEM platforms, CASBs, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
- Understanding of cyber risk frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001/2, PCI, and CIS 18.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level interactions.
- Experience using scripting tools and command-line interfaces (CLI) in cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex multi-layer networking issues.
