Job Summary


As a Customer Care Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for Health Initiative Programs. Your job is to connect with people who want to quit nicotine or tobacco, check their eligibility, and give them all the details they need about the program. 


This isn’t just a regular call center job, it’s the first step in helping someone become healthier. You’ll also be responsible for entering data and keeping information safe under HIPAA guidelines.


Key Responsibilities


Complete intake questionnaires with participants to find out if they’re eligible.


Document participant data according to HIPAA requirements and department standards.


Speak with callers in a friendly and confident way, encouraging them to join the program.


Help people set goals and support them in changing their habits.


Maintain call center metrics and meet individual performance standards.


Start work on time according to your scheduled hours and provide top-notch customer service.



Experience & Qualifications


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.


Experience: At least 2 years in customer service is necessary.


Preferred: If you have experience in healthcare or a call center environment, that's a plus.


Language: You must be proficient in English, but speaking Spanish as well is a big advantage.


Skills


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for connecting with all types of people.
  • Be detail-oriented so you don’t make data entry mistakes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortably use computers and call center technology.
  • Handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.


Salary & Location


Salary: $20.00 per hour (Bilingual candidates earn an extra $1.00 per hour).


Location: Remote, but you must live in CO, TX, WI, AZ, CA, IL, FL, HI, or NY.
