Job Summary
As a Remote Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key advisory role for clients. Your job isn’t just entering numbers, you’ll help business owners understand their financials and make better decisions.
You’ll handle full-cycle accounting and manage the monthly close process with accuracy. Since this is a client-facing role, professionalism and excellent communication skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations and month-end close.
Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple clients at once.
Prepare and carefully review financial statements to eliminate errors.
Coach clients on the proper use of QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
Work with the internal team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Help the firm with tax preparation during tax season.
Get actively involved in business advisory engagements.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience: At least 5 years of recent experience in a CPA or business advisory firm is required.
Client Handling: Solid track record of working directly with small and mid-sized business clients.
Location: You must be based in the United States (Remote Arizona-based preferred).
Technical: Full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks (Online/Desktop).
Certification: QuickBooks certification is preferred.
