Job Summary

The main aim of this role is to support high-impact projects related to sustainability, organizational change, and entrepreneurship. 


You’ll be responsible for analyzing over 2,000 documents and managing research data using AI-assisted tools like Claude Code. 


In this job, you’ll work right at the intersection of computational social science and academic writing, helping prepare research manuscripts that are ready for publication in top journals. It’s a part-time spot, and you’ll be expected to work about 15 hours a week.


Key Responsibilities


Analyze large document corpora using Python and LLMs (Large Language Models).


Build and run data pipelines for both qualitative and quantitative research projects.


Help with data cleaning, coding, and validation processes.


Conduct literature searches and prepare academic source syntheses.


Assist in preparing manuscripts, conference papers, and grant materials.


Improve research summaries and presentations to meet journal guidelines.


Experience & Qualifications


Education: A bachelor’s degree (it’s even better if it’s in Business, Marketing, or Information Systems). Preference for candidates with a Master’s degree.


Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience. Having 1–3 years of academic research experience is an extra advantage.


AI Knowledge: You need strong skills in AI tools and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.


Tools: Experience with tools like Claude Code, NVivo, R, or Python is a plus.

  • Good understanding of data analysis and quantitative research methods.
  • Proficient in English writing and verbal communication.
  • Motivation to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail to ensure research accuracy and integrity.


Salary & Location


Salary: $19.50 per hour.


Location: Washington, DC (You must be able to work from DC, Maryland, or Virginia, depending on the work modality).


Duration: This is a temporary role until December 31, 2026.
