Job Summary
The HR Operations Manager is a “hybrid” position based out of the Boston, MA office. You’ll be hands-on with payroll accuracy, optimizing the HRIS (UKG), and managing compensation surveys.
Since this is an individual contributor role, you’ll be directly involved in operations. You’ll keep data accurate so employees get the best service possible.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll operations through UKG and Workday, making sure everything stays compliant.
HRIS Optimization: Improve the UKG system, design dashboard reports, and enforce data governance standards.
Compensation Review: Help manage the annual compensation review process, analyze market data, and keep salary ranges current.
Reporting & Analytics: Create reports leaders need and manage system integrations.
Process Improvement: Use technology to make HR policies and processes even simpler and faster.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience: You need at least five years’ direct experience in HR Operations.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of payroll, HRIS (especially UKG/UltiPro), and compensation programs.
Education: A degree in a related field and a background in complex organizations.
System Knowledge: Experience with UKG (UltiPro) and Workday is preferred.
