Job Summary
Teleport’s Finance team needs an Accountant who can help manage day-to-day operations and month-end close reporting.In this role, you’ll work directly with business partners and support the company’s scaling process.
This contract-based position is designed for organized thinkers who have a strong grip on different accounting topics.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Functions: Record, reconcile, and analyze G/L account transactions.
Month-End Support: Help with journal entries and reconciliations for things like accrued expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, and payroll.
Contract Review: Review customer contracts to make sure billing and revenue are accurate.
Accounts Payable: Review, code, and process vendor invoices.
Tax & Audits: Assist with tax filings and audits, especially handling PBC requests.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to further improve accounting operations.
Experience & Qualifications
Education: A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the SaaS industry is a big advantage.
Tools: Experience with Quickbooks and SaasOptics/Maxio is considered a plus.
Audit Skills: You need to understand and have worked on financial statement audits.
