Job Summary
As the Director of New Business Development, your main job is to win new clients and speed up revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for the entire process, market entry, closing deals, and onboarding clients.
It’s a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside presales and global delivery teams to deliver outstanding Infrastructure and Cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead new client acquisition and net-new revenue growth.
Create and execute go-to-market strategies for priority industries and target accounts.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposals, and negotiations.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline that matches quarterly and annual targets.
Take a consultative and value-driven sales approach with CXOs and senior leaders.
Work with onshore and offshore delivery teams to design tailored solutions.
Build long-term relationships with clients for account growth.
Stay on top of market trends, competitors, and new technologies (especially in Cybersecurity).
Give leadership accurate sales forecasts and performance insights.
Experience & Qualifications
Overall Experience: At least 15 years in the IT services industry.
Hunter Roles: 8 to 10 years of proven success in new business development or hunter roles.
Domain Knowledge: Deep experience selling Infrastructure and Cybersecurity services in the US market.
Deal Closing: Excellent track record closing large and complex multi-year deals.
Collaboration: Ability to work closely with global onshore and offshore teams.
Travel: Willing to travel up to 50%-60% as needed.
Skills
- Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Strong executive presence with impactful communication and presentation abilities.
- Expertise in solution positioning and value-based selling.
- Thorough knowledge of sales pipeline management and forecasting.
- Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, or Retail is a plus.
