Job Summary


In this role, your main job is to enter medical data accurately into our systems and help the team with administrative tasks. 


You’ll have to work full-time from the office when you start so you can get complete training. Once your training is finished, you can switch to a “Hybrid” schedule and work remotely from home two days a week. This position is perfect for people who want to build a career in healthcare administration and love to learn.



Key Responsibilities


Quickly and accurately enter medical data into electronic systems.


Verify and update records for patients and healthcare providers.


Strictly maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and follow HIPAA regulations.


Assist with administrative duties like scheduling and managing documents.


Support the team in billing, coding, and claims processing.


Keep files organized and comply with healthcare regulations.


Work together with the team to offer ideas that improve workflow.


Experience & Qualifications


Education: You must have at least a high school diploma or GED.


Experience: Prior experience in data entry is a plus, but if you don’t have it, we’re ready to train you.


Typing Speed: You should have good computer skills and type at least 40 words per minute.


Training: Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required, since we provide training.

Salary & Location


Salary: $16.00 per hour, plus a chance for quarterly bonuses.


Location: Dubuque (initial training in the office, then hybrid work option available).
