Job Summary
As a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE), you’ll be responsible for evaluating the proficiency and skills of Emirates pilots.
This is a non-flying, ground-based role where you use Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) to conduct pilot assessments.
Your main task is to carry out evaluations based on GCAA regulations and Emirates’ high standards. This job includes assessing pilot performance, submitting reports, and providing necessary recommendations to maintain safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regulatory and company-mandated proficiency checks using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs).
Evaluate pilots’ performance objectively during type rating, recurrent, and upgrade training sessions.
Prepare and submit examination reports on time through the electronic reporting system.
Identify gaps in pilot performance and recommend them for remedial training.
Give training management feedback on pilot trends and ways to improve instructional methodology.
Help develop simulator and ground-based pilot evaluation training programs.
Experience & Qualifications
Licenses: You must have (or have previously held) a CPL, MPL, or ATPL license.
Examiner Experience: At least 12 months of active Examiner experience is required.
Flight Hours: You need a minimum of 1,500 flight hours as a pilot on multi-pilot airplanes.
Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills are a must.

Salary & Location
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Salary: Annual basic salary up to AED 423,360 (USD 115,265).
